BETTY JOE CHAPMAN’S AFTERLIFE UPDATE
(Purple was Betty’s Favorite Color Because She Regarded It as a Royal Color for Queens)
The purpose of my message is to update you on Betty’s afterlife since she peacefully went home on March 17, 2020.
Betty’s afterlife desire was to be cremated and then have her ashes distributed over the ocean.
Betty’s son, Christopher (“Chris”) Wofford, and his friend Carmen Caldwell are coordinating future afterlife plans for Betty. Chris tentatively plans to have a Memorial Service for Betty at 10:00 am on August 29, 2020 at Palm Coast United Methodist Church – coronavirus pandemic status permitting. Lohman Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
Betty has been cremated according to her wishes. Her ashes will be distributed over the Atlantic ocean on a date yet to be determined. Chris and Carmen have requested that family and friends send photographs to me for presentation at the memorial service. Their goal is to select approximately 100 photographs representing the joy and accomplishments of her life, for all of us to celebrate and remember. They would like to make this selection as soon as possible. I have attached two photos of Betty to stimulate you to share your best memories of her.
Thanks
